Welcome to my online design studio. I’m Gillian Armour, a jewelry artist, fashion fan and creative!  My collection of jewelry is updated seasonally and all pieces reflect current trends in fashion.  With a background in fashion and design, I’m acutely aware of the connection between fashionable jewels and fashionable clothing.

Jewelry has been a passion of mine since childhood.  My designs reflect the influence of the many places I have lived throughout the world.  Other aspects of my life that inspire my work include an early exposure to flowers and plants from my father – a botanist!  Additionally, his passion for gemstones and his gem collection became a source of ideas and knowledge when I decided to “get creative”.  I used to love digging around in the pink sapphires and lilac amethysts of his! My mother also designed jewelry and one of the first pieces I remember her making was a necklace of hand blown glass beads.

Each season Gillian Armour takes naked gemstones, dresses them up and turns them out into high fashion jewelry. The collection is affordable, high quality and consists of semi precious gemstone jewelry with vintage inspired details. No two are alike. Each has its own “personality” and is carefully made to guarantee you years of fashionable wear. They never go out of style and are a smart investment.
